Last week I talked about the beauty of Fall and suggested you get out and enjoy the season’s best attributes. Experiencing nature nurtures your physical and spiritual health. I reflected this week; however, about those of you who cannot easily get out into nature for one reason or another. I decided to take a walk and share my visual journey through pictures. Hope you enjoy the walk as much as I did!
Weeds look elegant when paired with this red zinnia
I am so lucky to live in a farming community with corn and bean fields adjoining my pastures.
This is a sight to refresh your spirit.
The serenity of this path is enhanced by the earthy smell of woods and vegetation. The corridor continues to meander through the woods . Honeysuckle vines growing in the fence row fill the air with an intoxicating aroma. If I could just bottle that fragrance to take with me....The invitation of this heavenly smell is enough to get me out on a walk. The sunlight dances and illuminates the inner recesses of the trees bringing the beauty of the woods to light, if only for a brief moment. Wonder what lives in this hole now that the woodpecker that constructed the space has departed? Weeds produce beautiful natural blossoms that dance and sway. Goldenrod does have it's charm!
Fall is a time to enrich our lives with the diversity that lives all around us! Cherish this Life’s Simple Pleasure.
